Bob Wood helped to run their family retail business for 17 years. After surrendering his life to Christ, he experienced freedom from a 10 year drug addiction, this led to a strong call to ministry by helping others discover the same freedom. He served in Celebrate Recovery at Saddleback Church for over 10 years, where he was able to help build and develop the ministry there. This growth led to a pastoral role in Arkansas which eventually brought him to Central Church 13 years ago as a pastor. During this time, he graduated from Biola University with a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership and recently completed a master’s degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University. He has a passion to help people grow in their faith and discover God’s purpose for their life. Bob has been married to his wife Karrie for the last 26 years. They have three incredible kids, Miranda 19, Jackson 15, and Jovanni 16. And two dogs, Golden retriever, Captain Jack Sparrow and Milo the Pug.
